Proposed new rules for smaller aeroplane air transport operations
Wednesday 15 August 2018, 7.00pm to 8.00pm (AEST)

Public consultation has opened on new draft regulations for smaller aeroplane air transport operations – Parts 119 and 135 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations and the Part 135 manual of standards.

The proposed rules aim to improve safety and consolidate requirements to make them more operationally focussed and easier to use.  In particular, the proposals aim to reduce the safety differential between charter and regular public transport through common rules that apply to all air transport operations but scaled for size and/or complexity.

Join our experts Jason McHeyzer, branch manager Regulation Implementation, along with Scott Watson, branch manager Flight Standards for a 60-minute webinar.  They will take you through the Part 135 regulation and the associated manual of standards.

Registration closes 15 August 2018.

And don't forget to complete the consultation on Parts 119 and 135 to make sure your feedback is counted.
