Proposed new rules for rotorcraft air transport operations
Recorded on:
Thursday 2 August 2018, 7.00pm to 8.00pm (AEST)

Public consultation has opened on new draft regulations for rotorcraft air transport operations.
The proposed regulations - Part 119 and 133 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations and the Part 133 manual of standards – create Australia’s first specific set of operating rules for rotorcraft air transport.
The new rules aim to minimise the safety differential between charter and regular public transport with rules that broadly apply to all air transport operations but are scaled for size and/or complexity.  They also introduce safety enhancements such as an adaptable rotorcraft code of performance, flight and other crew member training and checking requirements and scalable safety management systems.
Join our experts Jason McHeyzer, Branch Manager Regulation Implementation, along with Dale South, Senior Standards Officer (rotorcraft) for a 60-minute webinar.  They will take you through the Part 133 regulation and the associated manual of standards.
Registration closes 5pm 2 August 2018.

And don't forget to complete the consultation on Parts 119 and 133 to make sure your feedback is counted.
